Christmas (Christmas: Christmas Day) is an annual Christian festival. The festival was celebrated on December 25, the birthday of Jesus Christ. It is unknown whether this day is Jesus' actual birthday. According to the beliefs of early Christians, Jesus entered Mary's womb just nine months before this date. It is likely that according to this calculation, the date of Jesus' birth is believed to be on December 25.

In spite of being a Christian ritual in nature, many non-Christian communities also celebrate Christmas in the High Seas. Even in some cases, the celebration of pre-Christian and secular events is seen in the festival. Gift giving, music, Christmas card exchanges, church worship, banquets, and Christmas trees, illumination, garlands, Mistletoes, the birth of Jesus, and Holi are part of the modern-day Christmas celebration. In some countries Father Christmas (Santa Claus in North America, Australia and Ireland) is a popular story of Christmas presents for children.

The variety of Christmas festivals, including the gift-giving ritual, is especially important in the economy of Christians and non-Christians. On the occasion of the festival a special season of trade and commerce and sale goes on. The past few centuries have seen the economic impact of Christmas spread gradually in different regions of the world.

The English Christmas word is derived from the combined meaning of the phrase "month of Christ". The word originated from the Middle English Christemasse and the original English Cristes mæsse. The earliest mention of the last word is found in a composition of the year 5. The word "Cristes" is again derived from the Greek Christos and the word "mæsse" comes from the Latin missa. In ancient Greek, 1 (chi) is the first letter of the word Christ. This character is identical to the Latin letter X. From the mid-sixteenth century onwards, this letter began to be used as a synonym for the word christmas. This is why the word xmas was introduced as the abbreviation of christmas.

Christmas or Christmas is the birth of Jesus in Christianity. According to the Christian faith, many prophecies concerning the original Bible Savior say that the Messiah or Savior would be born in the womb of a virgin. The New Testament or New Biblical Biblical Gospel (Matthew 1: 1 - 2: 12) and the Gospel of Jesus described in the Luke Gospel (Luke 1: 20-2: 2) are the basis of the Christmas celebration. The earliest depictions of Jesus' birth depict the appearance of Jesus in a cave surrounded by cattle and cattle. According to conventional ideas, it is inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. An angel informs the shepherds of the fields around Bethlehem about Jesus' birth. Many Christians believe that the birth of Jesus fulfills Bible-based prophecies of the Bible. According to the above gospel, some Magi (astrologers) went to visit the child with gold, frankincense, and incense. It is said that a mysterious star leads them. This star, commonly known as the Star of Bethlehem, was the announcer of the birth of the King of the Jews, in common belief. The Epiphany Festival was celebrated on January 5 to commemorate the arrival of the magicians. Some churches have officially concluded the Christmas Day on January 5th.

Christians celebrate Christmas in many ways. Among these, attending church worship is currently considered one of the most important and most popular practices. There are also various other worship practices and popular rituals. Eastern Orthodox Church celebrates Nativity fasting before the Christmas Eve; On the other hand, Advent is celebrated in most churches in Western Christianity. The last Christmas preparations were made on Christmas Eve. Many families have a special family banquet for Christmas. The banquet diet, however, varies from one country to another. Twelve types of fish were served at the banquet on Christmas Eve in some areas, including Sicily. Common Christmas banquet terms in countries dominated by England and English culture are turkey (brought from North America), potatoes, vegetables, sausage and gravy; There are also Christmas Pudding, Mince Pie and Fruit Cake. The presence of fish is notable in Poland, other countries of Eastern Europe and the Scandinavia region; However, the use of high-fat meats such as lamb meat is also increasing in all these regions. Pork and pork are very popular in Germany, France and Austria. Besides, there is considerable demand for beef, ham and chicken in almost all the world. Ham is the main food of the Philippines feast.

In addition to special tart and cake, special desserts are also created on Christmas Eve: bûche de Noël in France or panettone in Italy. Sweets and chocolates are popular all over the world. Notable among the Christmas specials are German Stollen, Marzipan Cake or Candy and Jamaican Ram Fruit Cake. Among the few fruits available in winter in the northern countries, oranges have long been known as Christmas specials.

The history of special decorations on Christmas Eve is very ancient. In the pre-Christian era, the Roman Empire resident brought the branch of the evergreen tree into the house in winter. Christians place these national traditions in their creed rituals. According to a written description of fifteenth-century London, every house and all the rural churches were decorated with "home, ivy and bay and whatever green of the season of the year," according to the tradition of the day.

The Christmas card is a kind of illustrated greeting. During the week before Christmas, Christmas cards are exchanged between friends and family members.

In many countries, Christmas is the season of exchanging gifts among friends and relatives. Christmas is also intimately associated with the emergence of multiple Christian and mythological characters associated with Christmas and gift exchanges. These are Father Christmas or Santa Claus, Pere Noel, and Wenaxman; St. Nicholas or Sinterklaas; Christkind; Chris Kringle; Joulupukki Babbo Natal; St. Basil; And Father Forrest.

The father of the character of Santa Claus is Father Christmas humorist, nadusanudus and bearded man. He is the epitome of a happy Christmas. Written references are found in Father Christmas in England in the early part of the seventeenth century.
